Registered Purebred Stock
We imported some of the first known if not first in about 20 years of closed imports from Canada. They made the trip home in Oct of 2025 from WoolDrift Farms ON, CAN.
We are very excited to welcome 12 ewes and 3 unrelated rams. We are anticipating the offspring of these girls to see how the purebreds compare with some of our high percentages. This is a game changer we believe for added genetic diversity in the US sheep dairy animals.
One ram was introduced to 4 ewes when we returned home. We are expecting lambs for March. Spacing out the breeding, we placed a different ram in with three other ewes two months later to space out the milking periods.
As with our other sheep we like to be as natural and selective as possible. With the remaining ewes, we would like to see how they respond to natural out of season breeding, The last ewes will be bred in April for fall lambs. A waiting list will be made closer to the anticipated lambing due dates for 2027 lambs.

The Girls
Since bringing them home they have adjusted very well. They were on grass before so they never skipped a beat being let out.
To help with their continued growth we do grain them a mix of oats and extruded soybeans 2-3 times a week at 1/2 lb.
We are very excited to see the next generation of Friesians in March!
Again, I will be later posting a waiting list for offspring most likely in 2027. I would like to see how the lambs all grow and mature the first year.
The Boys
They have had an easy life since arriving. We've kept them close as to watch and be able to swap out rams for different breeding times.
Some of my high percentage ewes will be bred to these rams also with the option of selling offspring. Check back later for details and waiting list page.
